Important Risk Information for Patients
Indication

HYLENEX recombinant is used for subcutaneous fluid administration, the infusion of fluids under the skin

Important Risk Information
  • You should not take HYLENEX if you’ve ever had an allergic reaction to products containing hyaluronidase.
  • Tell your doctor about all the medications you take, including over the counter medications.
  • HYLENEX should not be used to reduce the swelling of bites or stings.
  • HYLENEX should not be used near any area that is infected or inflamed.
  • The most frequently reported adverse reactions have been mild, local injection site reactions, such as redness, swelling, itching or pain.
  • Rarely, patients have reported serious allergic reactions. Seek immediate medical attention if you have an allergic reaction or have trouble swallowing or breathing.
